It is the current wisdom that St. Gerard Majella Parish and St. John the Evangelist Parish both of Canton are proposed to be joined into a single Pastoral Collaborative, in the near future, served by a single Pastoral Service Team. The Archdiocese of Boston is currently presenting a series of consultations for Pastoral Planning.

The documents introduce you to the new concept of a Pastoral Service Team (PST) and its role in a Pastoral Collaborative. The South Region list of proposed pastoral collaboratives was issued on January 18th.

As a Parish we are blessed by the number of services that we are able to provide to our Community. Many of you have participated in these programs including:

Religious Education – We have over 975 students enrolled in 2010 – 2011

Kid’s Camp – Last summer we had 680 Campers and we expect even more this year.
